As the official Twitter handle of NASCAR announced Joey Logano’s contract extension, fans clamored over the comments section and stole Logano’s thunder by asking about Kyle Busch.

It is well known that the future of Kyle Busch seems to be uncertain at the moment. With doors closing all around him, the silly season gets even more confusing around the Busch debacle. It certainly would be hard to imagine next season taking place without the two-time Cup Series champion. Meanwhile, Joey Logano, another driver whose contract was still undecided, confirmed that they would return to the Cup Series with a new multi-year deal.

However, NASCAR fans did not seem to be excited about the Logano news. Instead, they wanted to know where would Kyle Busch be heading too.

Fans seemed to be least interested in Logano’s fresh multi-year contract extension, as they instead demanded what would the future hold for Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch, amid uncertainty around his contract talks.

Some fans even went on to question the decision to sign Logano, stating that Busch was much better than him.

Team Penske, also had signed Logano’s teammate, Ryan Blaney, for a long-term deal just a week prior. In a press release, Logano mentioned, “Since taking over the No. 22 car at Team Penske, I’ve had the opportunity to accomplish so many of my dreams both on and off the track.”

Logano holds 27 race wins under his belt since taking over the #22 car at Penske. As of now the third Penske driver, Austin Cindric has not yet signed a contract extension. But given the fact that Cindric’s father is the president of Penske, it would be unlikely that he’d be going off to any other team any time soon.
