The Kyle Busch-Joe Gibbs Racing contract saga has given NASCAR fans plenty of noteworthy moments, mostly in the lighter vein, in contrast to the seriousness of the whole situation. Recently, Busch was asked what percent of his personality he would have to change in case a new sponsor showed up in time for him. After Busch gave the percentages, a journalist jokingly states a few more different numbers, leading Busch to showcase his humourous side.

During the interview, Kyle Busch said, “I feel like having the freedom to act or react to certain situations the way that I could through the support of M&M’s, allowed me to be as successful as I could on Sunday. A 1000%. So will that have to change? Most likely. How much? 10%, 15%, I don’t know. Maybe, it’s 18%.”

Soon a journalist interjected and asked, “8 percent or 16 percent?”

Busch looks over to him and jokes, “18! 23! 45! 32! 29! 3!”

Fans took the time to notice the lightheartedness in Kyle Busch’s mood even though it is known that he is in a stressful situation with his current contract situation.
