NASCAR fans are known for their brutal with their opinions on social media. This time, they’ve had their target set on a 29-year-old ARCA Menards Series driver. It doesn’t take racing fans to get on the back of one who is regular at crashing and that is exactly what has happened in this situation as well.
The 29-year-old star, Kris Wright, is all set to race full-time for Venturini Motorsports in the 2024 edition of the ARCA Menards Series. He was a part of the team in the previous season but only competed in a couple of races, finishing P11 and P6. In the ARCA Menards Series West, he competed in one race for Bill Venturini’s team where he finished P22.

The reason why NASCAR fans are bashing Kris Wright is due to his performances in the Truck Series. The Pittsburg native used to wreck far more often, and it did not take long for the NASCAR faithful to quickly get on his case.
The 29-year-old driver wrecked at a number of tracks in the 2023 edition of the NASCAR Truck Series, including places like Bristol, Charlotte, and Kansas. Throughout the campaign, Wright never was able to finish in the top 10. His best finish was P12 in Texas.
The year before was not much better for him either. He was involved in accidents on 4 occasions and his best finish was P15 at the Circuit of The Americas.
Despite his poor luck in the Truck Series, Kris Wright has a decent enough record in the ARCA Menards Series. He might not have won a race but has finished in the top 10 on multiple occasions. In his final race of the campaign last year, he managed to earn himself a P6 finish at the Glen.

However, that has not absolved him of his wrecking record in the eyes of NASCAR fans. As the news was announced of Kris Wright joining Venturini Motorsports as a full-timer, fans tore him and the team a new one.

Fans were brutal on Reddit in their views about the driver. One fan suggested that he would be driving the VMS cars full-time into the walls, while another simply commented, “Why?”
“Kris Wright will run full-time into walls and other cars in the Venturini 15,” one fan wrote.
Another user stated that team owner Bill Venturini was throwing away his chance of winning the ARCA Menards Series by signing Kris Wright on a full-time basis.
“Good, I look forward to Bill Venturini missing out on another ARCA championship thanks to this guy,” they commented.
According to one, Wright simply did not have what it took to have a competitive presence in the ARCA Menards Series.
“i’m hoping someone else runs arca full time to actually make it a competitive championship,” one fan wrote.

There also were comments that conveyed a feeling of relief that Kris Wright was out of the Truck Series. Others sarcastically expressed how they would miss the 29-year-old wrecking his truck every other weekend.
“Good. He’s been banished to the ARCA realm. Have fun with all that Bill & Billy,” one fan commented.
“Pittsburgh’s own!! Truck races just weren’t the same without his weekly caution,” wrote another.
