Ahead of the 9/11 weekend, Bubba Wallace has his own new paint scheme and livery. Just like last year, the NASCAR teams this weekend would pay tribute via different paint schemes and events. Bubba Wallace will be sporting a special Red, White, and Blue paint scheme on his #45 Toyota Camry TRD.

23XI Racing took to Twitter to announce its collaboration with one of its sponsors. The tweet is a video of Bubba Wallace and his car in the new paint scheme, along with a quote from former American president Barack Obama. The Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan-owned team also thanked their sponsor, Root Insurance, for helping pay tribute at the Kansas Speedway.

Excited to see their favorite driver in his new look, NASCAR fans poured in their comments below the video.

It is also known that the other teams have their own version of a similar Red, White and Blue paint scheme. A marker of solidarity and unity, the teams will participate in the second race of the NASCAR Cup Series Round of 16 Playoffs.

Apart from the new livery, Bubba Wallace fans are excited to see him in his new #45 Toyota Camry TRD.

Why is Bubba Wallace and not Kurt Busch driving the #45?

Due to his medical condition, Busch will not be able to make it to the playoffs. However, since Busch qualified the #45 to the playoffs, and was competing for the owner’s championship, it is imperative for his #45 to finish the season.

Owing to this, 23XI Racing withdrew Busch’s waiver to compete in the NASCAR Cup Series and announced that Bubba Wallace would complete #45’s season.
