Bubba Wallace won his second race ever back at Kansas Speedway last week. He held off his team boss Denny Hamlin for the last few laps and crossed the line to grab the chequered flag. While most loved Wallace’s achievement, during the next race at Bristol, there were some elements in the crowd who reared their ugly heads and decided to stand up and flip him off.

The race at Bristol was won by Chirs Buescher. But the crowd was more interested to show their hatred towards Bubba Wallace, as they reportedly stood up and then gave him the finger. A NASCAR fan who was at the venue stated, People standing up to flip Bubba off is so disheartening.

Fans were outraged at the way some individuals preferred to spread hate against Wallace on a number of occasions and decided to speak up and condemn the actions of those individuals.

Fans were not happy at the way certain elements decided to behave amongst the crowd and took to Twitter to showcase their displeasure while defending the 23XI Racing’s driver.

Fans stated how these bad apples were only boosting NASCAR’s bad image and further proving stereotypes right. Fans also spoke about how this was different from when other drivers such as Kyle Busch face similar criticism. Another person said how it was sad that certain people just could not help in the evolution of NASCAR’s perception.
