Kyle Busch and Joey Logano had a collision right at the start of the season. Unfortunately, the #22 car got into the rear of the #8 at the tight corners of the L.A. Coliseum. Of course, that resulted in Busch spinning in the corner. Luckily, all went well later on in the race because he ended up with a top 3 finish in the first race of the season.
But his wife, Samantha Busch, was really not thrilled by what the 2022 Cup Series champion did, going to openly call him out on Twitter.

@bobpockrass Logano use him as breaks drove way to deep into the corner and never made an attempt to slow down till he dumped Kyle

Dumped by Logano. Not even sure how the 22 drove it in that far and hit someone in the outside lane from the inside lane?

I guess @joeylogano forgot how to drive with that new hair he has.

Kyle Busch’s wife didn’t just get support from her fans, but also from the very guy she called out! Logano admitted, “I screwed up was my mistake.”
He further explained, “I don’t know why. I mean, it’s still kind of a mystery to me because I refired and I came off of [turn] two. But no rear grip off the floor. And then I went down in the corner and it still had no grip and I slid down into the 8.”

Well, he really got an apology out of the defending Cup Series champion pretty easily. But Busch’s performance was particularly remarkable at the Clash. Because he recovered from being spun out, went up to NASCAR’s first podium with a top 3 finish in the first race, in a completely new car with a whole new team. Is 2023 already looking better for him?
