Bob Pockrass, who is a prominent NASCAR journalist, recently revealed that the car of Kyle Larson had been having trouble with the tech inspections.

Pockrass tweeted, “Looks like fewer than 10 Cup cars left in tech going through for a second time (sorry don’t have a full list). Larson car failed twice and the team will lose car chief and pit selection. Larson car in line now going through for a third time.“

Due to failing the first two techs, Larson will not get the option to select his car chief and pit area. Fans reacted to the news and pondered over Larson’s luck.
