Bob Pockrass, who is a prominent NASCAR journalist, recently revealed that the car of Kyle Larson had been having trouble with the tech inspections.

Pockrass tweeted, Looks like fewer than 10 Cup cars left in tech going through for a second time (sorry don’t have a full list). Larson car failed twice and the team will lose car chief and pit selection. Larson car in line now going through for a third time.

 

Due to failing the first two techs, Larson will not get the option to select his car chief and pit area. Fans reacted to the news and pondered over Larson’s luck.

A lot of people were asking for updates, to know if he made it on the 3rd attempt or if it was a failure as well.

Although one individual pointed out that being a road course, the pit selection should not hamper Larson by much. However, another user disagreed, and this started a debate in the comments thread.

As per the latest updates, Larson passed the final round but still lost the option to select pit area and car chief.
