Now, with M&M’s impending departure, it looks like the 15-year relationship may be coming to an end.

With this in mind, there are no end of suitors, and a surprising name is being thrown around, Hendrick Motorsports. The reason for that is, in 2007, Rick Hendrick said he’ll leave door open for Busch.

Of course, this would be a heck of a line-up, seeing Busch alongside the likes of Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson. On the other end of the scale, who between Alex Bowman and William Byron would be sacrificed?

Currently, rumor has it that if the Busch to Hendrick move happens, it will be at the cost of Bowman. However, a fair number of fans were not too fond of a potential reunion. Especially if it means that it will be at Bowman’s expense. So, many were adamant that Busch would not join the Hendrick team.
