Kevin Harvick, who recently reinstated himself as one of the modern greats with his back-to-back wins in the regular season, got quite mad in the first playoff race at Darlington. So mad that he didn’t hold himself back one inch against the Next Gen car.
The thing is, during the race, Harvick’s #4 Mustang suddenly caught on fire, forcing him out of the race.
As a result, the veteran driver, who just came out of a car on fire full of heat, spitted the same on NASCAR.

Kevin Harvick gives one of the most heated interviews of the year
Speaking after his retirement from the race, Kevin Harvick slammed NASCAR and the Next Gen car left, right, and center for what happened to his car.
“I’m sure it’s just the crappy parts on the race car like we’ve seen so many times,” he said. “We haven’t fixed anything. It’s kinda like the safety stuff, we just let it keep going.”
“What a disaster. For no reason! We didn’t touch the wall, we didn’t touch a car and here we are in the pits with a burned up car and can’t finish the race during the playoffs because of crappy a** parts.”

Harvick described how at first, the car started burning with the flames coming through to his dash despite which, he ran a couple of laps but then figured it was wise to stop as the flames intensified.
“I couldn’t make myself sit in there and burn up,” he continued.
