Kyle Busch might not rank too high when talking about the fan favorites in NASCAR. In fact, the two-time Cup Series champion is among the drivers getting “booed” the most in every race. However, Illinois took it to a whole new level.

The Joe Gibbs Racing driver arrived in Illinois in the candy hauler, hoping for new and exciting racing this weekend. Unfortunately, arriving at a new track wasn’t as exciting as the #18 car’s driver would have wanted it to be. NASCAR Journalist Bob Pockrass posted a tweet with a video of certain race fans who dislike Kyle Busch booing his hauler.

The driver certainly has quite the reputation on track. And the fans certainly had some things to say.

Kyle Busch’s #18 car has seen a sponsorship from the candy giant M&M from the starting of his NASCAR Journey. However, the brand announced its withdrawal from the sport in 2023.

Unfortunately, that also means the departure of the signature #18 “Candy car”. Moreover, Kyle Busch still has no breakthrough in terms of sponsors. In fact, this might even mean goodbye to the driver. And, Busch’s reputation may or may not help in getting sponsors, especially since we saw the fans booing his hauler recently.

Despite all that, the two-time Cup Series champion is nothing short of incredible. Speed is certainly his strong suit, and that’s what matters to the sponsors. So, he might have a good chance at getting a sponsor.
