The Cup Series races are always action-packed, with dramatic moments unfolding even after the races are finished. Though the races themselves are thrilling to watch and showcase a level of intensity not seen in most other motorsports, the aftermath of some of the races becomes even more interesting. NASCAR Fans were justifiably angered after watching Daniel Saurez use his car as a weapon!

Bob Pockrass recently posted a video on Twitter, sharing the highlights of the previous week’s events. In the caption of the post, he mentioned, “Daniel Suarez on why he didn’t feel he did anything dangerous on pit road.” This led to a lot of backlash from the fans. They certainly did not appreciate Suarez’s stunts on the pit road.

In the video, Bob Pockrass commented, “Suarez said he didn’t feel like he did anything dangerous; that they were going under 20 miles per hour, and Alex Bowman breaks checked him. But he won’t appeal the penalty and he says he has moved on. But man! He sounds frustrated with the way drivers have raced him at COTA.”

The incident did not go down well with fans, with many proclaiming that he should have been suspended.

During the final stage of the race at COTA, Suarez started fifth in the second overtime restart. Alex Bowman, with Ross Chastain and Chase Briscoe, was behind him. As the Bowman slowed to make a tight turn, he was hit from behind and bumped into Suarez. This commotion led Suarez to hit the left rear of Martin Truex Jr’s car. Truex spun out in front of Suarez and took him out as well.
