It is no secret that Team Penske driver Joey Logano‘s 2023 season has been a far cry compared to his 2022 run, which ended with him lifting the all-elusive trophy. But now, with just a single win this season, the 2-time champ is currently 9th in the point table. Though NASCAR’s only off-week is in the past, the community’s insatiable thirst for updates has uncovered a rather awkward and concerning element about Logano’s latest Facebook post.
Recently, the #22 driver posted a peculiar post on Facebook that has the community bothered. Announcing his sponsor’s new store in Bristol, Logano politely asked his followers to visit the new store with an exclusive offer, “stop by and take a picture with my car too,” said the 33-year-old in his post.
But the alarming part about this is in the comment section, replying to a fan, the community saw, or at least they thought they saw, the driver in a different light when he invited a female fan into his DMs.

As things stand, Team Penske speedster, Joey Logano is gearing up for a Super Speedway run as the NASCAR Cup Series returns to Nashville Super Speedway. While his sole victory this season came at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Logano needs another win to keep alive his playoff hopes.
Despite being vocal about his manufacturer’s carelessness and inconsistent ways, the #22 driver has bounced back after a series of lackluster performances, even coming third at Sonoma Raceway just behind his former rival, Kyle Busch. Now coming to the mysterious bit, it was Logano’s latest FB post, inviting all his followers down to his the opening of The Good Feet’s new store in Bristol, that raised some eyebrows.
Redditors uncovered and talked about the suspicious comment. Peggy Browning Martin, an ardent JL fan, expressed her wish in the comment, saying, “Wish I could be there” to which she was asked to message the driver privately. This was of course not Joey Logano, but someone trying to impersonate him.
The scene grew even more sketchy when the prankster prompted her to message her directly, “Thank you peggy, I really appreciate all your love and support. Send me a message now.”
This certainly raised a lot of questions as fans speculated a fraudster behind the awkward comment.
