Hendrick’s Motorsport driver Chase Elliott partnered up with The NAPA network for his “Desi9n to Drive” program.
He gave the opportunity for patients at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to create designs for his car, which he plans to race with at Darlington Raceway on the occasion of Labour day.

This heartwarming venture of Elliott was appreciated by fans, who took to Facebook to applaud his efforts.
One fan said, “Chase you are an amazing young man! You are a wonderful role and the children love designing the cars. Keep up the great work!!“
While another mentioned, “Which ever one you pick I know all the kids will be treated to something special. Always proud of you, as a driver but more as the man you’ve become.”
Another fan thanked Chase for the initiative and said, “As a childhood cancer survivor I really appreciate your support amso happy to see you are doing this again this year. Can’t wait to see the car and glad that I chose to go to this race this year.”

Fans were really appreciative of him for caring for the community and called him “the best.” However, this isn’t the first time Elliott is doing this.
What is the Desi9n to Drive by Chase Elliott?
“Desi9n to Drive” is an art collaboration event created by Chase Elliott. The program gets the patients of the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to create car livery artworks and uniform designs for his number 9 Hendrick Motorsports car.

Last year, a cancer patient named Mary Francis Webb’s artwork was selected as the design to run on Elliott’s car during the Darlington race.

During an interview, Webb said, “Ever since I could pick up a pencil, I was drawing.”
However, she had never imagined that her work would be featured for the entire nation to see on Elliott’s car. All the designs were then later auctioned off in order to raise money for charity.
