In the post-race interview, Parker Kligerman revealed what exactly happened on the track, “Well, let’s look at it. We qualified 28th legitimately on speed, like, we were that bad. And we made a bunch of changes (shrugs) and stuck it out through the night. And obviously the core temperature has probably helped.”

Pumped up with the win, he said; “I am proud of everyone, Henderson Motorsports, Food Country, USA, all the employees at Luck’s Beans.” Further, he revealed why this race meant so much for him and his team, “This area means so much. It’s just Super Bowl for this race team.”

During the brief interview, Parker Kligerman also talked about how special it is for him and his team to race at the Bristol Motor Speedway. He stated; “We put a lot of emphasis on this one. I’ve finished in every position except first in the top five now, basically. So, we’ve got to have a win coming here soon whether its on dirt or concrete we’ve got to win here.”

Talking about why it is so gratifying to race on this particular track, he continued, “I love the energy in this place. I love racing here. It’s insane, it’s frustrating, it’s just complete mania at times. And just you’re being thrown 1000 things at 1000 miles per hour. But that makes it gratifying when you’re successful.”
