Everyone knows how the latest Apple September event was right? It was bad. Apple practically made no changes to their devices except the Pro models and presented it to their audience as if it were to be something revolutionary. Well, turns out NASCAR managed to learn something from Apple’s marketing skills, well, at least that’s what the fans have been assuming after taking a look at the race schedule for next year.
The new schedule added the highly debated Chicago Street Race and the North Wilkesboro Speedway as planned. But fans stated that they saw a reduction in the number of night races, as well as a couple of double runs at some of the least exciting tracks. Meanwhile, the Texas race was brought down to only one.
NASCAR fans react to the latest NASCAR schedule
Fans compared the 2023 calendar to that of Apple’s newest iPhone launch, while some compared it to when Japan decided to change the color of its flag from red to slightly brighter red.
Fans took to Twitter to share their opinions on what should have been done instead. Some also suggested adding dirt tracks instead of converting Bristol Motor Speedway to a dirt track for every Cup Series race. One fan also complained how there was no race at Iowa since the track had been previously successful for IndyCar and could have been great for the Cup Series as well.
Get rid of dirt at Bristol, if you want a dirt track use an already existing dirt track

I begged you not to put Loudon back to back with Pocono again and instead you give me Loudon-Pocono-Richmond back to back to back!?!? pic.twitter.com/HRtOkAF5Ex

Big negatives in my opinion
-No Iowa (had successful IndyCar weekend I would think nascar would try and get on it)
-tracks with multiple dates should have at least 1 night race ie Kansas & Atlanta— Blake Mace (@BlakeBoss14) September 14, 2022
