In a recent interview, NASCAR driver Corey LaJoie opens up about his feud with Denny Hamlin. Their feud started after an online racing event and escalated in the last few weeks.
After the online Twitter banter escalated NASCAR spoke with both the drivers to make sure that everything’s alright. Recently, Fox NASCAR posted a clip of Corey’s interview. In the interview, he talks about his feud with Hamlin.
He said, “I don’t know. Did I run my mouth a little bit more than what I probably should have? Yes. Did he do things that he probably regretted? Yes. That’s how we got into this situation.”

He added that things escalate because of pride and ego. However, he said that they need to look past it as at the end of the day everyone got people they need to answer to and a mission of trying to win races and championships.
After that, he said, “I think Denny and I can both agree that we were both in the wrong and I finally just had to eat it, whether or not I still had a leg to stand on in the argument. We moved on from what the original points of the argument was and that’s when I was like, ‘What in the hell are we doing here?'”

NASCAR had to get in the middle of it: Joie on his fight with Denny Hamlin
In a recent interview, he talked about how NASCAR got in the middle of their fight to mediate. He added that he should have let it go after the NASCAR meeting and he regrets that he didn’t. Because of the fight, a lot of private messages were revealed and NASCAR had to get in the middle of it.

He said, “Last week we had a meeting when there were some things that came to a head that they had to address”.
