Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s JR Motorsports secured both Trackhouse drivers on a contractual basis. They will drive for JRM in some select races. Seasoned driver Ross Chastain will drive five Xfinity Series races, starting with the COTA on March 1. He’ll also compete at Darlington, Nashville, Dover, and Iowa later in the season.

Known for his aggressive driving style and adaptability, Chastain expressed his excitement. “Getting an opportunity to do it with JR Motorsports is too good to pass up. I know every time I climb in their Chevrolets, we will have a chance to win,” Chastain said in a statement. It’s worth noting that Chastain has two victories in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in more than two hundred race starts. He also has 53 Top-10 and 24 Top-5 finishes.

Meanwhile, Shane van Gisbergen, set to debut full-time in the Cup Series this year, takes on his second stint in Xfinity. In 2024 he made his Xfinity debut with Kaulig Racing with Trackhouse’ support. In his debut season, he won three races in 33 starts with ten top-10 finishes. Notably, in 2025, Gisbergen will compete in four races for JRM. He will bring his racing expertise to tracks like Mexico City, the Chicago Street Race, Sonoma, and Watkins Glen.

Speaking about the opportunity three-time Supercars Champion expressed his excitement at starting alongside Justin Allgaier. He said, “I’m trying to get as much experience as I can. JR Motorsports is one of the top teams and won the championship with Justin Allgaier. I can’t wait to get started,” said van Gisbergen in a statement from the team.

The bank’s sponsorship will prominently feature on the cars of the rookie duo of Connor Zilisch and Carson Kvapil. Their vehicles will sport a striking blue, white, and gray color scheme, adding a fresh and dynamic look to the JRM fleet. Zilisch, driving the No. 88 car, has already set impressive records, including an Xfinity Series win at Watkins Glen.

Alongside these rookie drivers, Dale Jr. and Kelley Miller have assembled a team with experienced talent. The lineup includes reigning champion Justin Allgaier and promising driver Sammy Smith. With this formidable combination and the addition of Trackhouse prodigies, JRM aims to replicate last season’s success. They are determined to dominate NASCAR’s second-best series.
