NASCAR Alsco Uniforms 500 will now run on Thursday night. Heavy rains forced the series to postpone the Wednesday night race hours before the launch time. Notably, the probability of rain spoiling the party again is still there.
The race will now start on Thursday night at 7:00 PM EST at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. The track saw major racing action in the last week as it hosted the Coca-Cola 600 followed by an Xfinity Series race and a truck series race.
The race is 208 laps (312 miles) around the 1.5-mile oval. And will run in two stages. Thursday’s starting lineup alters the best 20 finishers from Sunday’s race. Which means Keselowski will begin twentieth in the 310-mile race. While, William Byron, who finished twentieth on Sunday, starts at the pole.
