In 2022, NASCAR entered a new era with the Next Gen car. This was aimed at creating more competitive racing for those inside the sport, and an attractive space for those outside it. But the way things are going, the current year being the start of a new era might not just be true for NASCAR only.
Because you could add Twitter into that bracket as well.
Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and the CEO of groundbreaking companies such as Tesla and SpaceX, was recently reported to be edging closer to buying, yes buying Twitter for a deal in the ballpark of $44 billion.

Will Elon Musk and Tesla join NASCAR?
Earlier this year, NASCAR’s Chief Operating Officer, Steve O’Donnell, opened up on the possibility of having an entire exhibition series with electric cars. This was something that the fans didn’t take particularly well, all things considered.
But it seems NASCAR is pretty serious about this idea.
