Life is something that is very fragile. One moment, everything can seem to be normal and fine. But just the next moment, everything can change drastically. Something like this happened to AJ Allmendinger and his wife after they lost their “best buddy” and “first baby” hours after the Daytona 500 race. Moreover, after the tragic loss, AJ Allmendinger released a statement regarding the unfortunate passing of Mr. Tickles. Soon, the NASCAR community came together to leave messages of support for the Allmendinger family.
What did the Allmendingers mention in the statement?
The statement released by the Allmendingers read, “It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we have to announce our beloved baby, Mr. Tickles, is no longer with us.” Apparently, right after they landed at Statesville, NC following the Daytona 500 event, Mr. Tickles, reportedly “locked up, went limp, and passed immediately.”

The incident took place at approximately 11 pm. They rushed to a vet, but they were told that there was nothing left to be done. The vet informed them that it was most likely a “blood clot, and he suffered little if any.” Mr. Tickles passed away at the age of seven and a half years old.
Moreover, Allmendingers mentioned how within a split second their lives had turned upside down. Furthermore, they mentioned, “He was such a good boy, a wonderful being, our best buddy, travel Companion, and our first baby.” After showering the departed with praises, the family also mentioned that they would soon let people know about the arrangements for an “in Memorial of Mr. Tickles.”
