As one of NASCAR’s crown jewel weekends approaches, the sport is pulling out all the stops to ensure the event is as grand as can be. Kicking things off with the off-track events, NASCAR is bringing music to the front stage with four magical concerts.
Arena-rock musicians Hairball will hold a concert on Friday, at 10:30 p.m. Which will be followed by performances from Kameron Marlowe at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. Matchbox Twenty and Tim Dugger and Friends will end the weekend on a high note with their concerts on Sunday (3:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., respectively).
Setting aside the musical extravaganza, the biggest story ahead of the Coca-Cola 600 is Kyle Larson’s attempt at the Double. As things stand, the Indy 500 will kick off at 12:45 p.m. EST, a few hours before the Come 600, which starts at 6 p.m. EST. This gives Larson a small window to make it back for the Crown Jewel race.
Speaking of which, here’s how the Coca-Cola 600 weekend is set to unfold:
Friday:
The ARCA Menards Series will start action in Charlotte. The practice will commence at 11:40 a.m. ET, followed by qualifying at 12:40 a.m. ET. The Truck Series practice is set to begin at 1:35 PM ET on Friday, followed by qualifying at 2:05 p.m. ET.

Sunday:
Moving on to the big day, the Coca-Cola 600 will kick off for 400 laps of stellar racing at 6 p.m. ET. The race will be streamed on FoxSports.com and FOX’s main channel.
With that being said, the best place to be during the Coca-Cola 600 is Charlotte Motor Speedway. Speaking of which, tickets for those eager to witness Kyle Larson’s double attempt in person will not be available on the official website anymore. Since all packages are nearly sold out, the website redirects fans to TicketMaster, where the average ticket for the Coke 600 resells for $200.
While this price point may seem steep for a lot of fans, NASCAR is ensuring an experience that will be unforgettable for both drivers and the community alike.
