Weather Report and Ticket Policy
After a dramatic weather interruption at Daytona which led to a 6-hour delay, NASCAR fans can expect an uninterrupted race at Atlanta. On Saturday, temperatures will reach a high of 52°F, with a 1-5% chance of precipitation throughout the day. Wind speeds are expected to range from 1 to 5 MPH. For Sunday’s Cup race, the temperature will peak at 55°F, with a slight 11-12% chance of rain. Wind speeds will stay between 2 and 6 MPH, creating ideal racing conditions.
Despite such a pleasant weather forecast, if Mother Nature wreaks havoc, will there be a refund for physical tickets? In case of weather-related postponements, NASCAR offers a Speedway Motorsports Weather Guarantee. If a fan cannot attend a rescheduled event due to weather delays, their ticket can be credited toward a future NASCAR race at any Speedway Motorsports track. Fans must redeem their ticket credit within 60 days or before the end of the calendar year.
