Recently, the #18 driver’s wife penned down her journey through this dark period in an Instagram post. She wrote; “It was a very stressful year for sure. Lots of sleepless nights, weighing up options, and feeling a sense of instability that we haven’t had to face in many years. Everything always happens for a reason though, and I’m excited for what the future holds.”

But now with Busch finally has an idea about where he would be spending the next few years. After signing a contract with Richard Childress Racing, Busch is in a much more stable position at the moment. And in his interview with The Atletic, the ‘wild one’ was prompted to talk about his journey.

In the interview, Busch was asked on a scale of one to 10, how will he rate himself for replying to text messages in a timely manner. To this, he replied;

“I would say prior to this year, I’m a 10 out of 10. But this year, with the last nine or 10 months of so much chaos going on (with his contract situation), I would say I’ve been much worse at it. So probably a three or four.”
