Earlier, 3-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Tony Stewart made a cryptic post on social media. He started off by saying that he attended a recent IndyCar race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. From there, he suggested that he may be planning something special for the fans in the future.

Naturally, this got several fans curious about what the former champion had in mind.

He said, “Spent a lot of time in the Indy garage looking at racecars. It got me thinking about doing something special for the fans”. Naturally, his cryptic words sent social media into a bit of a frenzy.

To be precise, there began a massive guessing game for what he had in store for everyone. A lot of the guesses ranged from sensible ones to the downright ridiculous. However, his tweet indicated that it was meant for NASCAR and IndyCar fans.

What did NASCAR fans say about Tony Stewart and his mysterious tweet?

Some people guessed that it could be a chance for Stewart-Haas Racing to dip a toe in IndyCar waters. Others were hoping that he could finally win the Indianapolis 500. Some people guessed whether he was entering his Tony Stewart Racing team in the IndyCar field.

Another fan joked whether the 51-year-old was finally taking up Roger Penske’s offer to race and win the Indy 500.

Other speculations included Stewart pushing for his Eldora Speedway track to be included on the IndyCar calendar. Once again, Dodge’s name cropped up, this time being associated with Stewart-Haas Racing. Some people even joked that Tony Stewart was being considered to drive for the McLaren Formula One team.
