Chase Elliott might rank high on a list of the most loved NASCAR driver. But where there is love, there is hate. And that statement, despite being quite cringe, fits very well in this scenario. Because not everyone can love the same driver, and some people quite dislike Elliott. Whether that’s because they can’t justify the amount of love he gets. Or, they just don’t like him.
But could he be considered boring? Well, a Bubba Wallace fan sure did think so.

Back in 2021, Cup Series drivers read some mean tweets about themselves. And one of those was Hendrick Motorsports’ golden child. Though, one fan commented, “Even in the midst of a rivalry, Chase Elliott is the most boring man on earth.”
That wasn’t even the interesting part. What really got the 2020 Cup Series Champ’s attention was his username, “I appreciate that his name is Bruhbba. Bruhbba Wallace.”
Is he related to Bubba? Well, who knows? Nonetheless, Elliott appreciated the thoughtful compliments of this particular fan. “So I don’t know if he’s related to Bubba or not, but I appreciate that. Thank you. It means a lot, actually.”

What do you think, though? Is Elliott really that boring? Let us know in the comments.
The Bubba Wallace fan commenting on the #9 driver is quite fascinating because these two drivers came together in 2022 to protest against NASCAR.
Bubba Wallace backed Chase Elliott’s strong opinions
Elliott has been vocal about his dislike for the All-Star race happening in Texas every year. In fact, he said, “To get away from Texas would be a major win for me, the lesser times we visit Texas, the better. I would love that, that would be great.”

Unexpectedly enough, Wallace supported his statement.

In an interview with The Athletic, Wallace actually confessed his distaste for the All-Star race happening at the same track every year. He said, “The All-Star Race should float, it should be like other major leagues that float their All-Star games, too. Pick your best markets and build off that. If (a track) is suited for us, I think we should look at different avenues. I mean, it’s an All-Star Race; it shouldn’t be in the same spot every year.”
