Drivers often make mistakes in the heat of the moment, which they later regret. And no driver is immune to it, because they’re just human. The same went for Kevin Harvick as he admitted his mistake in the 2014 season.
Because back in his championship-winning year, he was running better than anyone. But he wasn’t as good as the rest in Texas, in 2014. Of course, which led to him shoving Brad Keselowski toward Jeff Gordon. In fact, they dubbed the act of shoving a driver for no reason, Harvicking.
And the name comes for good reason.

Harvick went in and shoved Keselowski for no reason. And on the latest episode of Stacking Pennies with Corey LaJoie, he recalled it as his “most embarrassing moment”
“I don’t know what I was thinking there,” he said. “For me, my mind was ‘we didn’t win tonight, we need chaos.’ I went back into that showman thing and we wanted these guys to be the story since we didn’t win tonight. Well, it worked. I feel dumb for that but in the end, we made it to Homestead. We needed the story to go elsewhere other than us and being out of contention.”

Kevin Harvick didn’t regret it initially

The 2014 Cup Series Champion finally admitted that causing the brain in Texas is his most embarrassing moment, as he ends his career. But surprisingly enough, he didn’t have any regrets about doing it initially. In fact, he said that. “I never look back on something as a regret,”. Of course, a person’s past catches on pretty fast.
And Harvick probably knew that, because he knew what he did wasn’t exactly right. He did say that “I think you look back on them as lessons.” So just means he probably learned that he was wrong after the fight.
