Dale Earnhardt is still a greatly respected name in the NASCAR community. Not only did he clinch 76 victories throughout his career, he still ranks 8th on the all-time NASCAR Cup wins list. What made Earnhardt immortal was his on-track dominance, as he rightfully earned the moniker ‘The Intimidator’. However, his death on a fateful day in 2001 during the Daytona 500 will forever be etched in every fan’s heart. As the world reached the 23rd year of his passing, Dale Earnhardt’s daughter Kelley Earnhardt Miller solemnly remembered her father, who was not just a great racer but was also an equally loving father. And Kelley’s words were certainly a testament to that fact.

After The Intimidator’s passing, his then ex-wife Brenda Lorraine Gee Jackson was a great source of support and strength for her two children, who were like Dale Earnhardt’s shadows. The mother also played a vital part in their business ventures as she joined JR Motorsports in 2004 and continued to be a part of the organization for the majority of her life. However, the mother-of-two passed away in 2019 after a valiant battle with cancer. On the occasion of her fifth death anniversary, Kelley Earnhardt had also paid tribute to her mother.
