Pitbull is one of the most popular musicians in the world today. His multiple chart-topping songs and platinum records have shot him to the top of the mountain over the course of the past decade. But did you know that he is an important member of the NASCAR community? The Florida-born rapper is the co-owner of the Cup Series team Trackhouse Racing along with Justin Marks. While his busy schedule does not allow him much time to be present at races, he has paid a unique tribute to his team.

Trackhouse Racing has not had the best time in 2023. Daniel Suarez failed to make it to the playoffs and Ross Chastain is on the verge of getting eliminated. The driver of the #1 is 10 points behind the cutline with one round of 12 race left. He will probably have to win to make it but that seems unlikely given Trackhouse Racing’s car performance this campaign.

Trackhouse Racing’s uninspiring form has not stopped Pitbull from hyping them up. In fact, the Florida-born rapper went a step closer and made an entire album about the team. The record is titled ‘TRACKHOUSE’ which came out on all platforms as recently as F`riday.

The 14-track album features several artists like T-Pain, Vikina, Omar Courtz, and the legendary Nile Rodgers. The record was widely anticipated ahead of its release and will certainly bring a lot of attention to Trackhouse Racing, even though they’re not doing particularly well at the moment.

Speaking about his latest record, Pitbull said, “This right here is about making history. It’s generational, it’s about creating a legacy. Having fun doing it, with entertainment and everybody’s going to want to be involved with those that admit how hard it is to come out here and win.”

“You know everybody tries to paint a pretty picture on how easy it is in this world of instant gratification. But we all know it’s all about hard work. Look, you work hard and work harder and work smarter to play the hardest. Welcome to Trackhouse,” he added.

Months before its release, Pitbull revealed his inspiration for writing an album named after the NASCAR team he owns. The Florida native said that a large part of it was to grow Trackhouse and NASCAR’s awareness among his fans.

“The whole initiative when we got together with Trackhouse was all about uniting people and also creating awareness for Trackhouse and also for the sport and NASCAR. So, I feel that music is a universal language. It unites, it doesn’t divide. It’s the same way that you can utilize the race car and how everybody loves racing,” he had said,

Trackhouse Racing might have an album coming out named after them but that does not help their situation in the Cup Series. However, their playoff driver Ross Chastain is not taking too much pressure ahead of the race at Charlotte.

The driver of the #1 currently finds himself 10 points behind the cutline but said that he was going to “live his dream” at Charlotte.

In an earlier interview, Ross Chastain said, “I’m going to make left and right-hand turns this weekend and live my dream. We’ll put out best foot forward and as long as I’m getting to drive these rocket ships that Trackhouse Racing brings me, I’m living my dream and keep fighting.”

He may not sound too serious but Ross Chastain can do whatever it takes to make it through to the next round. Just look at Martinsville last year. His points situation is not ideal but the #1 driver won’t go down without a fight.
