Speaking to the eccentric veteran, Kenny Wallace, the racer got candid about the whole idea. He said, “I just take a lot of pride in it and my ultimate goal is to fund my racing through merchandising and where leaps a sponsor like my family and they are able to invest that budget somewhere else so you know it’s just I look at merchandising as a form of interaction with fans and fans having that passion to buy items from race car drivers and support them as race car drivers and it’s important for me to be really personal about it and get creative in how you advertise things.”

He then revealed the love fans have for Gus, coming down to his trailer just to see his dog. “We built this platform now through our social media that Gus is, you know, this famous race track dog that now everybody comes to see, say hello, and he blows my mind at times just with his personality and how generous he is to the fans and doesn’t never really get tired or worn out by the fans and he just loves to sit up on the trailer and get petted and you know just stay there and chill and it’s really comforting to the race fans to approach an animal like that,” said the driver overflown by joy.
