Last year, when Matt DiBenedetto left Rackley W.A.R. mid-season, fans were not thrilled, to say the least, and they let him hear it. Since then, there’s been endless chatter about him possibly teaming up with squads like Kaulig Racing. But now, with the news out that he’ll be taking the wheel of the #38 car for Viking Motorsports in the Xfinity Series, fans are over the moon for the driver. To add to that excitement, the racer also revealed about the addition of a new face to his team recently.
Matt DiBenedetto is on a roll ahead of his debut
Matt DiBenedetto shared on social media that Williamsburg Contracting will be plastered on his #38 Ford Mustang for his Xfinity Series kick-off in Richmond. Previously, the team leaned on the RSS #38 font, with Ryan Sieg’s ride sponsored by Don Sackett’s SciAps. So it is a collaborative venture in which Viking and RSS are teaming up, splitting the winnings, and working together. RSS Racing will cover the pit crew and hauler, while Viking will bring the car and the spotter to the table. For now, Viking’s getting a helping hand from RSS Racing for all the essentials.

Taking to social media, the driver shared the news with his followers, writing, “Happy to learn that Williamsburg Contracting ( @AaronBeavers67 ) will be on my @vikingmotors_ Ford Mustang this weekend for my Xfinity Series debut at Richmond 💪🏼.”
