Martin Truex Jr. is an iconic name in modern NASCAR. Of course, he’s a 2017 Cup Series Champion. Moreover, he drove for one of the NASCAR legends, Dale Earnhardt, on his racing team. However, during his time with Dale Earnhardt Inc. Truex Jr, got a little too loose.
A police officer caught the Joe Gibbs Racing driver drunk.
Back in 2007, Truex Jr. was having a bit of fun when he went out to have a drink. Unfortunately, he ended up having a little too much and ended up urinating in public. This is when things took a turn for the words as a police officer also caught the driver.

The police officer joked around with the driver as he said, “I bet that’s worth a hundred bucks.”
To which the JGR driver replied, “It is worth a hundred bucks”

This led to the NASCAR driver pulling out a $100 bill.
The decisions Truex Jr made that night were arguably not right, but the conversation that took place between him and the officer was surely hilarious.
Martin Truex Jr. Has Decided To Not Retire
The season-long speculation on the future of the 2017 Cup Series Champion has finally reached its end as the driver will be back in the #19 in 2023.
The driver of the #19 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing will continue with the team for another season.

He explained, “The competitive side of me said I’m not done and I’m going to keep fighting, so here we are.”
Even the president of Toyota Racing Development, David Wilson, is relieved as he said, “We’re delighted that our 2017 Cup champion, partner and friend is back in his Camry TRD for at least another year.”
