In the modern motorsport era, the ideology of having a side hustle apart from a racing career has gained a lot of momentum. Take the two-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kyle Busch for example, who has a successfully running energy drink brand, and Kevin Harvick, who has a large-scale management business. This time, however, it’s the Joe Gibbs Racing driver Martin Truex Jr., who has taken a step forward to join the likes of Busch and Harvick. Following the footsteps of fellow NASCAR racers, Truex Jr. shares a major update as a big launch is impending.

Martin Truex Jr. gives a reminder to the community

In a bid to pursue his business brainchild, Truex Jr. gave rise to his apparel brand “TrueXtreme Outdoors,” which is due for a launch on the very next day of the new year, 2nd January.

Having witnessed the entrepreneurial success of his motorsports peers, Truex Jr. waited no more and prepped to have a shot in the clothing business. Being a renowned face in the motorsport world, Truex Jr.’s venture portrays high hopes of success.

Nevertheless, to prevent any shortcomings, Truex Jr. made a smart move to grab more eyes on his venture as he didn’t forget to remind the NASCAR community about the highly-anticipated launch. Following this he took to Instagram and shared a countdown message and wrote, “The countdown is on. Be sure to give @truextremeoutdoors a follow.”

Inspired by the racer within, and the extremities that a sports person goes through, Truex Jr.’s apparel line features clothes that can be donned on a field, in the water, and even inside the garage, a category of apparel less looked upon.

Venturing into business is not an alien term for former NASCAR racer Kevin Harvick. He started his racing team by the name of Kevin Harvick Incorporated (KHI), in 2002. However, after his team’s merger with JGR in 2012, Harvick’s company altered its line of business and started managing athletes and prominent entities.

Coming to Kyle Busch, he started his racing team in 2009. However, in a bid to pursue his dream outside the ovals, Busch also created an energy drink brand “Rowdy Energy”, in 2019. With his beloved wife Samantha, the RCR driver took the initiative to test the flavors to ensure their products tasted like no other.

Busch’s business acumen has reaped so much success that Rowdy Energy sponsored Formula Drift driver Ken Gushi. His brand also bagged the naming rights for the Southern Super Series’ Rowdy Energy Twin 100s.
