When Mario Andretti started racing on a dirt track in the 1950s, he started a multi-generation story of high-speed glory. The Automotive Hall of Fame inductee and 111-time race winner had his descendants following in his footsteps as well—son Michael and grandson Marco. However, Marco Andretti has now brought a new face to the family, with a possibility that she would carry forward her great-grandfather’s heritage.

After months of anticipation and excitement shrouding the Andretti fold, the beautiful moment has arrived. Marco and his girlfriend Billie Jo Powers exuded joy and happiness at the hospital as they welcomed a gorgeous little bundle of joy to their family.

The baby shower witnessed loved ones blessing the happy couple, who were expecting their second baby girl. From the legendary Mario Andretti to other relatives, everybody eagerly waited.

Marco Andretti and Billie Jo received warm wishes for their incoming joy. “Counting down the days until Miura Micah Andretti’s arrival and celebrating love and life! We cherish the beautiful memories from such a wonderful day: Billie’s baby shower, aka Marco’s dad-chelor party! 🥳🎉💐” And when the final moment came, it was ecstatic for the entire Andretti household.

A few hours ago, Marco Andretti announced the birth of his daughter, Miura Micah Andretti. He posted photos of his bundle of joy as he and Billie Jo beamed with pride as the parents. Andretti wrote: “💜Miura Micah Andretti has entered the chat at 1:58pm. 6.7 lbs. Billie and baby are doing great.😁” 

Business mogul and social media influencer Powers had waited with bated breath for months, and finally, she brought another joy to the Andretti household. Marco even mentioned Michael Andretti’s chosen nickname for his granddaughter: “Bisnonno”.

Now that Miura or Bisnonno has arrived, her arrangements are also in place. Marco Andretti and his girlfriend have prepared the perfect nursery for their little one.

Billie Jo also posted a tour of the nursery on Instagram and wrote: “So in love with our nursery day bed and glider combo. I wanted to create the most comfortable space for our baby girl while still having the option to get a good night sleep. The quality and features make this combo the perfect addition to our nursery. So in love with this room! ✨”

NASCAR fans and royalty are absolutely in love with this news, as they head to congratulate the ex-IndyCar driver and his family.

Back in 2017, Marco Andretti walked away from a full-time IndyCar career, and also from Andretti Autosport, his family race team. The legendary family’s racing tradition and tall expectations had taken a toll on him, and he distanced himself. However, his daughter’s birth unites the family at a time of pomp and joy, and fans are enthralled to witness this.
