NASCAR’s Post Race interviews on the front stretch have been around for a while, and it’s a fan-favorite feature. However, the interviews have proven to be quite hazardous sometimes with a couple of incidents. And, this time around, the victim was John Hunter Nemechek. We saw what seemed like a battle of water hurled at the poor driver after the Truck Series race at Darlington.

This is great news! Let’s hope that NASCAR has taken appropriate actions to avoid these things from happening again.
John Hunter Nemechek’s Scary Encounter After The NASCAR Truck Series Race at Darlington
Many of you might ask- what really happened to the Truck Series driver? Well, here’s what went down after the race.
While Fox Sports’ Jamie Little was interviewing him, a fan suddenly hurled a water bottle-like object at the driver. Fortunately, the projectile narrowly missed hitting the driver, but it still landed on the car and made him jump a little. The worst part was that the bottle was probably full or half-full, so had it connected, it would have really hurt.

Surprisingly enough, John Hunter Nemechek barely flinched. He just saw the bottle hit and went on talking to the reporter and discussing the race!
Finally, what really matters is NASCAR’s security has identified the person who hurled the water bottle. Hopefully, incidents like these could be avoided in future races.
