Frankie Muniz, the former child star who played Malcolm in the early 2000s Fox sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, is on a mission to make it big in NASCAR. In January, Muniz had revealed his plans to compete in the 2023 ARCA Menards series, and on February 18, he raced in his first ARCA Series race as part of Rette Jones Racing at the Daytona International Speedway. In his second race at Phoenix Raceway on March 10 and scored a respectable 6th-position finish.
Muniz isn’t just dipping his toes in the water—he’s all-in. He’s set to compete in 18 more races throughout the season, showing that he’s not just a celebrity trying to break into the sport.
Muniz also participated in the ARCA test runs at Daytona International Speedway earlier in 2022. While Muniz’s entrance into the racing world may seem like a stretch, he’s not the only celebrity to try their hand at NASCAR.

In fact, many celebrities have tried their hand at racing, including Paul Newman, Patrick Dempsey, and Tom Cruise, either for films or experience. But it’s not just celebrities who are making headlines in the racing world.
