Last weekend’s NASCAR race at the Charlotte Roval saw chaos near the end of the race, as cautions lifted in very short intervals, essentially spending the race into overtime. One such caution was raised when a signboard happened to find its way onto the track. This incident apparently infuriated former NASCAR driver and podcaster, Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Junior let out his frustration on what happened during the final few restarts of the race by stating, “We ended up with, I mean a freaking cardboard sign, is responsible for hundreds of thousands of dollars of damages, playoff hopes dashed, and all the things. Make a list, make a Denny Hamlin list.”

He added, “All of the sh*t that happened in those final restarts affected people monetarily. All because of that stupid ass cardboard sign that got knocked off the wall when a car hit it, it was pretty frustrating.”

The final restart also did not go smoothly on that race weekend, after multiple cars spun and crashed into each other. This sure did ruin the playoff chances for several drivers.

If the crashes were not enough, Chase Briscoe made a lunge to overtake several cars to get him back into playoff contention after his teammate, Cole Custer controversially slowed down on the track to assist him.
