It seems that Stewart Haas Racing just can’t catch a breath! May that be the whirlwind of fines and penalties or the news of one of their best drivers retiring. The 2022 Cup Series have definitely taken a toll on the team. And now, the team’s co-owner, Tony Stewart can’t believe what he just read!

The playoff race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway made it to the headlines this week. But not for good reasons. An ugly brawl between Bubba Wallace and Kyle Larson attracted a lot of media attention. Hence, the NASCAR Twitter exploded with updates and news surrounding the incident.

However, who would have thought that one of these updates might fool an already ‘mad’ Tony Stewart? Sharing a screenshot of a ‘breaking’ news, Tony Stewart shared that he actually thought it all to be true. The news, which clearly was a jibe at the governing body’s recent rulings, cracked up tons of NASCAR fans.

As a result, the Twitter users shared their take on the sarcastic news post and taunted NASCAR for its string of decisions against Stewart Haas Racing. Moreover, a few fans found the fact that the news fooled Tony Stewart

The Tony Stewart tweet and the Bubba Wallace-Kyle Larson Incident

During the playoff race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Kyle Larson attempted a three-wide pass. Alongside Larson, Bubba Wallace and Kevin Harvick were a part of that group. However, although Harvick slowed down and dropped out of the group, Bubba Wallace refused to provide room for Larson.

As a result, Larson apparently shoved Wallace into the wall on the track. And this forced Wallace to retaliate. While trying to get back at Larson, the 23XI driver bumped into the right side panel of Larson’s car and sent it out spinning. This ended the race for them and unfortunately Christopher Bell who was also collected in the crash.
