Ever since M&M’s announced its departure from NASCAR, it left Kyle Busch in a quandary. This was because the company was his long-time sponsor, so his Joe Gibbs Racing seat was in jeopardy. Soon, the hunt for a new seat began for the two-time Cup Series champion, and it was very tough. Apparently, it took a toll on his wife Samantha as well, and she recently shared how it affected them.

What is Kyle Busch up to now in the NASCAR Cup Series?

The good news is that Busch has finally got his future secured. To be exact, he has inked a brand new deal with Richard Childress Racing. This contract effectively places him in the #8 car, replacing Tyler Reddick. The best part is that the RCR outfit is offering him a full-time gig and he will be a vital cog for the team. Who knows, maybe he and Austin Dillon can form a formidable team and bring glory to the organization.

For now, Kyle Busch will be focused on the remaining Cup races in the 2022 season. Although he is out of contention for the championship, he will be aiming to end his Joe Gibbs Racing career on a high note. After all, he did stick around with the organization for most of his career and even bagged two Cup Series championships. However, after the season finale at the Phoenix Raceway, Kyle Busch will officially close the JGR chapter for good. From there, he will be keen to hit the ground running with RCR.
