Jeb Burton wasn’t a happy man after the Xfinity Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In fact, he wasn’t even angry, he was fuming, and it seems like his anger came out all at once on one driver, in particular, Noah Gragson.

Burton followed Gragson deep into the garage area after the race and hurled insult after insult, comment after a comment that clearly proved he was incredibly mad at the #9 driver.

However, the #9 driver didn’t really make a big deal out of it.

“No. Not worth my time. I focus on guys that win races,” Gragson said about Burton’s comments after the race.

But it wasn’t over yet, as Burton then reacted to the video of Gragson comments as he wrote, “And like I said to his face, the only reason he’s in the car is bc of the check. I’ve been in the same stuff and out ran him almost every race go look at the stats.”

As for the stats, Burton has outrun Gragson on five different occasions when they both raced for JRM in 2019 and 2020.

In 2019, Burton finished 5th in Texas while Gragson finished 11th, and then, later on, finished 17th while the latter finished 32nd in Bristol. Next season, Burton finished 3rd in Talladega while Gragson finished 10th, then the finishes were 6th and 30th in Texas, and 2nd and 5th in Richmond.

The fiery exchange between Noah Gragson and Jeb Burton

It seems like before Jeb Burton got down to the nasty sauce as he followed Noah Gragson, he began what ensued as a discussion, or at least he tried to. After the race, both the drivers were seen standing in front of each other, with Burton trying to make Gragson explain how the way he races is wrong.

But it looked like Gragson was having none of it, and began to not only ignore his fellow driver but to walk away from him.

“I’ll wreck the dog fuck out of you,” Burton told Gragson, and as they walked to the garage area, he continued, “You think I’m scared of you?”
