Toni Breidinger is one of the most talked-about female motorsports athletes in the world today. The 24-year-old has Victoria’s Secret as one of her sponsors. Apart from the global fashion brand, she is also sponsored by Hot Wheels. In a recent interview, she revealed the childhood connection she had with Hot Wheels products, while also expressing her love for Barbie dolls during the same time.

Toni Breidinger had an impressive 2023 season. She recorded 4 top-five finishes in the ARCA Menards Series and made her debut in the NASCAR Truck Series. Her first race in the competition came in Kansas for Tricon Garage and the 24-year-old recorded a decent P15 finish.

In a recent episode of the “Females in Motorsport” podcast, Toni Breidinger talked about her childhood connection with Hot Wheels. She said, “Hot Wheels, they’ve been amazing to be with and also such an iconic brand. They’re on my GR Cup car that I raced this year and it’s kind of a funny story cause when I was younger, I used to play with Hot Wheels at the go-kart track with my little sister and I’d go home and I’d play with my Barbie dolls.”

 

As it turns out, Breidinger narrated the same story to an executive from Hot Wheels when she had done a social media project with the company earlier. That nostalgic connection she had perhaps appealed to the company as well to be one of her sponsors.

“It was almost like living two different lives and I remember I did like a little social media project with them. I met somebody from there and I kind of told them that story and how Hot Wheels was a good part of my childhood growing up and you know, at the track I was doing that and when I went home, I was with my Barbie dolls,” the 24-year-old added.

Breidinger has some big sponsors backing her journey in motorsports. What is quite heartwarming about that is the fact that she has always had some sort of a special connection with them. That is even the case with her Victoria’s Secret sponsorship.

In the same podcast episode, the 24-year-old revealed how she had always wanted to be a Victoria’s Secret model growing up. So when the global fashion brand decided to be one of her sponsors for her Truck Series debut, it was a special moment. Breidinger believes that she shares a special bond with all the brands she works with.

“Just kind of like started the relationship off with them and it grew into something super cool. I feel like all my partners are so supportive and amazing. All the brands I work with, they’re like genuinely in my life or like something like that I actually love or grew up using,” Breidinger added.
