The first NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race is done and dusted, with Erik Jones winning. However, disaster struck many Playoff contenders, and one of them was Kyle Busch.

The #18 Joe Gibbs Racing driver saw his race end prematurely when his engine blew up and he grounded to a halt. When he stopped on the track, there was an audible cheer from the crowd.

Another comment said, “Only sport where people will root for a driver to fail more than their driver doing good.”

Finally, another fan said, “Because they know he’s the best !! If they don’t hate you then you ain’t doing something right ! Haters gonna hate.”
