The NASCAR world can start the countdown for one of the most awaited races, the Daytona 500. All the NASCAR drivers would be looking forward to giving their best performance in the first race of this season. While two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch is all geared up too, his fans seem to have some concerns.
Recently a video on Twitter was uploaded by that Legacy Jones Fan, and he wrote, “Watch how far Kyle Busch’s head travels! #daytona #NASCAR”. In the video, Richard Childress Racing driver is seen in his NextGen car where he hits the wall. The movement of his neck, though all the support present, had all the fans questioning about the safety of the driver. Some fans couldn’t stop themselves from remembering the tragic incident involving Dale Earnhardt Sr looking at the video.

Fans concerned for Kyle Busch and other NASCAR drivers
Some fans questioned NASCAR if they seriously made some changes in the NextGen cars, keeping in mind the safety of the drivers. While some feel safety is a question in itself when they are driving at a super speed. Though they have decent support with HANS and everything in place, it still raises a lot of questions. Look at what some fans had to say out of worry and concern for their favorite race car drivers.
A Dale Earnhardt hit … I held my breath when Kyle hit that wall !!

Restrictor plate racing is a joke. Killed the most iconic driver in nascar history yet they continue to run them cuz they get ratings and they can help push their agenda with certain drivers running up front.

Great safety nascar I thought they improved it that was the same thing that happened to stenhouse last year at Daytona

@NASCAR has failed! This next gen car is UNFIT to race! Cars catching on fire, no practice, toe link suspension parts that break easily, and rigid chassis…. something has got to give, but not a driver's head!

Drivers can only take so much. I really hope these cars get softer before we see a plate crash like KFB at the end of the 2008 July race. Imagine this car getting slammed in the rear like that.

When you're running 188 and hit a wall the word safe is relative.

So they didn’t fix the safety issues at all. Noted.

How are we going backwards with safety?

Say you've never won a Daytona 500 without saying you've never won a Daytona 500.

That's quite literally the joke. Thanks for ruining it.

Like Dale Sr it’s one of the few things that has eluded him. But, RCR knows their way around Daytona and KFB has a new group of bow tie wearing friends.

Unfortunately he is right. Super speedway racing is a lottery these days. Don’t matter how good the driver is, the cars, aero, package doesn’t allow for drivers to distinguish their skills well enough.

Dang, I was hoping he would be fired up and ready to destroy the field. Thought this was his year. Makes me a little worried for his chances.

He went from being spun at the Clash to finishing top three in like 50 laps. He'll be fine.
