There has never been a better time to be a sports fan. NASCAR is all set to dive head-first into ye another fabulous season this year. Elsewhere, NFL are also busy making their mark in this fast-progressing year. With the Super Bowl, the buzz is louder than ever. And like most Americans, Veteran stock car racer, Kevin Harvick also a close eye. 

He recently took to X to tweet a sweet moment with his daughter Piper. The father-daughter duo watched the NFL game today and had things to share about it.

Kevin Harvick holds the mike as daughter chooses favorite NFL team

Kevin Harvick and his daughter, Piper, recently watched the NFL game scheduled for today. Harvick at first tested Piper’s knowledge about football. “Tell me who’s in the Superbowl.” To that, she promptly took the name of two famous teams- the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Then Harvick added. “Who’s gonna win?” Piper said: “Let’s go Chiefs!”

Kevin then questioned his daughter: “Why’re you rooting for the Chiefs?” Piper answered with a cute smirk on her face. “Cuz Taylor Swift likes the Chiefs and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend’s on there!”

The Super Bowl 58 game was held today after two weeks of intense preparation. The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers met in Las Vegas for an aggressive face-off on the field. However, USA Today’s NFL reporters made a prior prediction. Piper’s favorite team will not be able to outsmart the 49ers. 

The Chiefs’ pro bowler snagged a lot of global attention last year when his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift went public. Swifties and NFL fanatics converged today in Las Vegas. The pop singer headed over from Tokyo after completing four consecutive Eras Tour shows. This Super Bowl will mark Swift’s 13th Chiefs game.

Kevin Harvick wrapped up his racing career last year and came back to the track as a commentator in 2024. He brought home many accolades under Stewart-Haas Racing, including the 2007 Daytona 500 and the 2014 Cup Series Championship. And it seems like the Harvick legacy of winning races isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Both of Harvick’s children have already ventured into motorsports. Piper Harvick debuted last year in July at the Trackhouse Motorplex in the Kid Kart division. She left everybody speechless with a perfect first-place finish. Making a bold appearance before the camera, she enthralled fans by saying, “I wear the firesuit in this family.”

Keelan Harvick, Kevin’s son, is more inclined towards go-kart racing. He has already proven his talents behind the wheel and did his first go-kart race in Europe. Keelan has already won titles like the 2022 USPKS Nat Champ (Mini), 2021 SKUSA SuperNats, and USPKS Nat.

Kevin Harvick may have bid adieu to track racing. But the Harvick name is not going to be wiped off of the racing winners’ charts any time soon.
