Kyle Petty and Morgan Petty recently declared that they were blessed with a second child. Petty shared the news on social media. Cotten Cable was born on Aug. 2, 2020.
Petty has multiple victories in the NASCAR Cup Series. He then ventured into broadcasting. As of now, he functions as an expert for NBC Sports.

Kyle Petty – The Multi-tasker
He even tried his hands in music. Kyle’s music profession started in the mid-’80s. Petty opened for acts of Randy Travis and Hank Williams Jr. He then had some problems while launching his debut album as his racing career was gaining traction.
He signed a contract with the RCA Records in 1986. Petty then started working on an album with Don Light. His only song was “The Other Guy”. Because of conflicts with his record organization and the board, Petty later surrendered the collection venture.
He pressed pause on his musical career to concentrate on racing. In 1995, he went on to record “Oh King Richard,” with respect to his dad that showed up on the NASCAR-themed album.
Kyle Petty raced in NASCAR for over 30 years. He won his first race in 1979 when he drove a Dodge Magnum car. Kyle Petty is quite active with charities.

He is often associated with the Victory Junction Camp and the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America.
Petty is the son of the seven-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion, Richard Petty. He is the grandson of Lee Petty. Cotten is Petty’s fifth child. He has another child with Morgan and three kids from a past marriage.
Kyle wrote: “Morgan and I welcomed a little boy to our family this morning. We named him Cotten Cable – after his maternal grandmothers, Claudia Cotten Overton and Helen Cable Owens. Mom and baby are both doing great!”
