“We’re actually going to go to WrestleMania in Vegas on Sunday. He’s [Kyle’s son, Owen Larson] been asking me for a while to go to one of those events. I’ve never been into wrestling like that, but it should be fun… WrestleMania is obviously a huge event, so I’m excited about that for sure.” Kyle Larson told Kevin Harvick last week, and boy, did that trip deliver!
Now, while Larson might not be a diehard wrestling fan, it turns out this Vegas adventure wasn’t just about suplexes and steel cages. Behind the glitz of WrestleMania 41, a fun little crossover moment took place involving one of NASCAR’s biggest stars (and his family) and one of YouTube’s most infamous and lucrative personalities. And yep, it ties straight back to Larson’s racing career.

Kyle Larson’s Prime-powered NASCAR connection hits the big stage
It all kicked off in early 2024 when Prime, the viral hydration drink co-founded by Logan Paul and KSI, made its way into NASCAR. The brand inked a multi-year deal with Kyle Larson, instantly making him one of the most commercially visible drivers in the sport. It was Prime’s biggest motorsports partnership to date.
The deal put Prime’s logo on Larson’s helmet and fire suit for every Cup Series race in 2025. But it didn’t stop there. The partnership also promised crossover promos, behind-the-scenes content, and even a limited-edition Kyle Larson bottle. For Larson, it was a golden opportunity to tap into a younger, digitally connected audience. And for Logan, to attract the ‘older’ NASCAR fans.
When WrestleMania 41 rolled around in Las Vegas, Larson took the family for what he called a bucket list event for his son Owen. But the weekend delivered an unexpected highlight when he met Logan Paul backstage. Logan Paul posed for photos with Kyle Larson, along with his wife and kids. The eye-catching element? The photo shows Larson’s son, Owen, and daughter, Audrey, holding Prime bottles. Perfect product placement, we say!

But, Logan Paul wasn’t just hanging out with the Larsons and promoting his brand. He was also in the spotlight at “The Grandest Stage of Them All,” where he scored a dramatic victory over A.J. Styles in a No Holds Barred match. With a knockout punch followed by his signature Paulverizer. This was Logan Paul’s first WrestleMania singles match victory. Paul has now extended his WrestleMania winning streak and further cemented his WWE star power.
What’s your perspective on:
Is Kyle Larson's partnership with Prime a game-changer, or is the 'Prime Curse' real?
Have an interesting take?
Larson and Logan’s relationship isn’t just a polished, on-paper sponsor-driver arrangement. It’s turned into a surprisingly fun, public bromance, one that’s had its share of viral moments and inside jokes. And lately, that friendship’s been tested by something even Logan Paul has called the ‘Prime Curse’. Yep, there’s a running theory that sports stars who partner with Prime end up hitting unexpected slumps. But at the cost of a special #5 Prime, it all seems worth it. Because boy, the revenue will be through the roof! And for Larson, some say the curse signs have been there.

Is the ‘Prime Curse’ catching up with Kyle Larson?
It started as a harmless meme but quickly snowballed into a full-blown sports superstition. Fans began noticing that athletes and teams backed by Prime seemed to stumble at key moments. From UFC champs losing belts to soccer stars missing clutch penalties, the so-called Prime Curse became an internet in-joke Logan Paul himself couldn’t ignore.
Names like Israel Adesanya, KSI, and even Premier League club Arsenal have supposedly fallen victim to this streak of bad luck after teaming up with the viral hydration brand. Big moments gone sideways, seasons derailed, or title shots missed. There are enough coincidences stacked up for fans to connect the dots, even if it’s all in good fun.
For Kyle Larson, the whispers began last season. Despite racking up eight wins, the most of any driver, he fell short of the ultimate prize. He was shockingly eliminated in the Round of 8, while Joey Logano snuck through and snagged the championship with half as many victories. The timing? Prime had just signed on as a partner.

Logan Paul himself playfully acknowledged the meme after Larson’s tough run at Bristol earlier this year. In an Instagram story, Logan, from an earlier Larson’s win celebration and Prime drink in hand, joked, “Prime Curse 🤣🤣.” Larson, while attempting the ‘Triple Sweep,’ missed out on the milestone after his loss in the Truck Series race.
Still, if there’s one thing clear, it’s that Logan Paul and Kyle Larson aren’t just business partners. They’ve become genuine supporters of each other’s grind. Whether it’s racing ovals or WWE rings, these two are building one of NASCAR’s most unexpected (and entertaining) crossovers.
