The Pennzoil 400 race is dominating the talk of the NASCAR town now. The hot topic is how the race was dominated throughout by two prominent names: Kyle Larson and Tyler Reddick. While Larson led the highest number of laps [181], Reddick was chasing him at his heels all the way. Reddick gave a tough fight in his No. 45 Toyota, but eventually, Larson’s No. 5 Chevy was destined to steal the show. Reddick hobbled with a few pit road issues, and a lack of track position made his pursuit even more difficult. The rivalry left fans holding their breath, as Kyle Larson outwitted Reddick three times in a row. However, post-race excitement about the overall race quality seems to have dampened.

Fans think the Sin City race was “a snoozer”

Las Vegas is known as the town where crazy activities unfurl. People go there to have breathtaking experiences that they cherish for the rest of their lives. However, the Pennzoil 400 race may not be one to record in the family albums of fans. They want what happened in Vegas to stay in Vegas, after all.

Jeff Gluck recently conducted a poll on Twitter, asking fans their opinions about the Las Vegas race. The poll was received with diverse responses, placing the average reaction at a neutral, or not-so-positive level.

“Wish you offered a ‘so-so’ option. I voted ‘yes,’ however.🙂.” Another fan tweeted, “It was a snoozer. Hard to pass for sure.”

One fan carefully analyzed the race: “Was it a good race? Pros:  Comers and Goers during a fuel run.  Cars could make passes and run multiple lines. Cons:  Larson largely stunk up the show, until the end.  Use of aerodynamics to defend position is still a con….get the cars off of the ground. It was a good competitive race.  7.5/10.”

Others talked about Kyle Larson’s supremacy. One fan wasn’t too happy about it, stating, “Yes except for Larson domination.” Another fan tweeted, “Still good and competitive through the field. We knew before the race it was likely to be another Larson show. Las Vegas or Larson Vegas? He dominates there.”

Even Carson Hocevar answered the poll, providing his own take on the topic: “it started out a lot of fun, but a lot of set backs through out the experience but ultimately almost broke out even from the set backs to get back to where i started which is true vegas fashion so i clicked yes jeff.”
