Kyle Larson and Hendrick Motorsports have been on a roll in 2021. The team has been on a four-race winning streak, while Larson has bagged two in a row. It is also worth mentioning that Larson is the first driver since Kevin Harvick to record five consecutive Top 2 finishes. Harvick kept this streak during the 2014/15 Cup Series seasons.

The front row is an all-Kyle affair, with Kyle Busch lining up in 2nd. Behind them are Christopher Bell and Cole Custer, with Austin Dillon completing the Top 5. In 6th place is Chase Elliott, the nearest of the dominant Hendrick Motorsports cars. Team Penske’s Joey Logano splits him and William Byron, with Brad Keselowski and Martin Truex Jr rounding out the Top 10.

The remaining drivers are Michael McDowell, Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch and Ryan Newman. Finally, Alex Bowman, Denny Hamlin and Ryan Blaney complete the grid. However, there are still four more spots to fill on the 21-car pack, and one of them is a fan voted berth.

Who else will join Kyle Larson after the All-Star Open?

Before the All-Star race, there is the All-Star Open that serves as a qualifier. Over here, 22 cars will battle it out for the remaining four grid slots on the All-Star Race grid. Contenders include pole man Tyler Reddick for Richard Childress Racing. Alongside him on the front row is Roush Fenway’s Chris Buescher. Finally Matt DiBenedetto, Ricky Stenhouse Jr and Ross Chastain in the Top 5.

In P6 is Bubba Wallace, ahead of Daniel Suarez, Erik Jones, Chase Briscoe and Aric Almirola. The next five drivers are Corey Joie, Anthony Alfredo, Quin Houff, James Davison and Josh Bilicki. Austin Cindric, Cody Ware, BJ McLeod, Justin Haley and Garrett Smithley round out the Top 20. Finally, Timmy Hill and David Starr complete the 22 drivers who will battle it out for a slot in the All-Star race.
