Kyle Larson has not enjoyed the best of starts to his Hendrick Motorsports career. Despite this, he is still keeping the faith that a win will come eventually. After a respectable 10th in the Daytona 500, he ended up 30th at the road course, before rocketing to fourth at Homestead-Miami. Needless to say, that maiden Hendrick Motorsports win should not be too far away.
Recently, Larson spoke to SiriusXM NASCAR Radio about his win chances. He said, “I feel like our second race together as a team at the road course, we were in a position to win. I got a little too greedy in one lap, and I think if I don’t do that, I can win. So, I think the pieces are there. William Byron obviously showed this weekend that we have speed.”
Kyle Larson insisted that he ran reasonably well, despite not getting the lead. Despite the dry run, the Asian-American driver is not too worried, as he is looking forward to a few races where he performs well at.

The #5 driver insisted that if he can win at least one race, there is no reason why he can’t win more. All he needs to do is put his head down and execute his plans to perfection. If he had to rate his season so far, he has done reasonably well, despite a few odd mistakes.
Now, Kyle Larson will be looking forward to this weekend’s race at Las Vegas. Truthfully speaking, the Hendrick driver has a decent track record at the Nevada track. In fact, he has finished in the top five on at least five occasions with a best finish of second in 2017 and 2018.
