Earlier, Chase Elliott triumphed at the Nashville Superspeedway and continued Hendrick Motorsports’ reign there. It started last year when Kyle Larson won the first Cup race at Nashville, and now Elliott has become the second winner in 2022. Meanwhile, Larson could only muster 4th place behind Kurt Busch and Ryan Blaney.

With this win, Chase Elliott joins the likes of Ross Chastain, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, and teammate William Byron on two wins each.
With nine races left in the Cup Series before the Playoffs, the pressure is on the rest of the pack to fill up the remaining spots.
