In NASCAR, it is not uncommon for rivalries to develop, especially after a few clashes. Defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson knows this well, especially when he talked about the Ross Chastain situation. The #1 Trackhouse Racing driver has managed to annoy multiple drivers by colliding with them all year. Larson compared Chastain’s situation with his own rivalry from last year with Christopher Bell.
Kyle Larson said he was nervous last year when racing Christopher Bell and whether their rift would impact how Bell raced him. On what Ross Chastain faces: “Ross has a two-page list of guys, it seems like. … You’ve seen it in the past. People will make life pretty tough on you.” pic.twitter.com/G2PFd6iOvF

He said, “The only guy who I really had a run in with, last year, was [Christopher] Bell after Watkins Glen. Thankfully we only had to worry about one person during the Playoffs. But I did worry about it, I remember Texas, he was lined up behind me on a restart. Not that he was going to wreck me or anything. I just didn’t know of the lane that he chose on the restart. If he would work with me, stuff like that.”

What to expect from Kyle Larson in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs?
With the Coke Zero Sugar 400 done and dusted, the regular season in the NASCAR Cup Series is finally over. To Larson and Hendrick Motorsports‘ delight, they are in contention for the championship. The best part is that all of his teammates have qualified as well. It is worth mentioning though, that Kyle Larson had a few run-ins with teammate Chase Elliott.

The latest coming-together was at Watkins Glen when he ran Elliott off the track. Although the two have talked it out, the last thing that Hendrick Motorsports needs is two warring drivers. After all, it is considered poor form for drivers to crash into their own teammates.

Now, Larson and Elliott will have to work together with their teammates and each other to stay alive in the Playoff race. However, once the Championship 4 season finale begins, there will be no holds barred. All that we can do is enjoy the remaining races and hope that Ross Chastain does not annoy anyone else, or there will be no mercy.
